When your shipping label is created, you’ll get an email notice with a tracking number. We have the same shipping information you have, so if you’re concerned about the status of your package, please contact USPS or your local carrier. All orders are insured through the carrier, and domestic orders require signature upon delivery. If your package is delayed, lost, damaged, missing, or stolen, we can assist you in filing a claim.
For international orders: Please note tracking info is limited once the package leaves the US. You will be responsible for any destination-based taxes (e.g. VAT) collected by your carrier upon pickup. Please contact your local carrier if you’re unsure of their policy of fees and delivery.
Our prices follow the current market value of gold. Everything is sold “as is” and all sales are final.

Product Information and Accuracy
While we strive to accurately represent each product, reflective surfaces are difficult to photograph. Raw gold varies in shape, color, and hue, and might slightly differ from the image shown or appear different on individual screens. All measurements are approximate, and weights can vary as much as .05 grams. All goods and services are provided “as is.”
Ordering
All sales are final and signified complete through your payment confirmation, though we reserve the right to decline and refund any order at any time. Custom and Special Orders
Custom designs may be subject to a non-refundable deposit. These items, as well as engraved, stamped, or further personalized items, are all final sale and cannot be returned or refunded.

Our prices follow the current market value of gold. We do not offer discounts or price adjustments for any reason. All promotions are null and void.
Taxes
Responsibility of destination-based taxes, duties, fees, or tariffs rests with the buyer. We can not predict or refund any charges enforced by customs or other government agencies. Should the buyer refuse to pay any taxes, duties, fees, or tariffs implemented by a government agency, we will not issue a refund for the purchase.

All orders are shipped in unbranded or USPS boxes/envelopes for safety and discretion. All orders are insured through the carrier, and domestic orders require signature upon delivery. Once the carrier receives the package, title and risk are transferred to the buyer, and the package is beyond our control. We are not responsible for delays, theft, or damage after the carrier scan shows acceptance.
Delivery
Nugget jewelry, Story Rings, and Small Batch Specials will ship the fastest, as their stock is on hand. Other items like rings, chains, bracelets, personalized, or custom items are typically made-to-order and can require more time to craft. To process your order, please allow us 14 days from placing your order. If you’re concerned about lead time, feel free to reach out to us. Any estimated completion dates are provided in good faith, but are not guaranteed.
We make drops to the Post Office at least twice a week, but shipping from Alaska can be quite the adventure. Mail in Skagway is heavily weather dependent, and may take several days just to leave town. If you haven’t heard from us or received an email notifying you of your shipment after 14 days from purchase, feel free to contact us via email admin@chasingmammoths.com.

International Shipping

All subsequent shipping policies apply to international orders. Please be aware that tracking information is limited once the package leaves the US. Please contact your local carrier for further information regarding their policy of fees and delivery. We can not guarantee your carrier will contact you for pickup when your package arrives.
Claim

Chasing Mammoths is not responsible for packages delayed, lost, damaged, missing, or stolen after the carrier scan shows acceptance. In the event a package is delayed, lost, damaged, missing, or stolen, responsibility to file a claim with USPS or local post rests with the customer and Chasing Mammoths will assist and provide documentation. We do not issue refunds or replacements directly for delayed, lost, damaged, missing, or stolen packages.
Warranty
Manufacturing-related defects will be repaired at no charge. This warranty does not cover damage due to normal wear, accidents, misuse, or unauthorized repairs or alterations made by someone other than Chasing Mammoths. The customer is responsible for all shipping costs regarding the warranty or other care, including adequate shipping insurance. Contact admin@chasingmammoths.com for inquiries.
Returns and Exchanges
All sales are final and signified complete through complete payment. Chasing Mammoths only offers returns or exchanges if the customer received the wrong order. The customer has 10 days from delivery date to file an inquiry. Please take photos of all items you received- shipping, packaging, item, invoice, and email to admin@chasingmammoths.com
If the customer receives the item as ordered but the item does not fit, the customer has two options: 1. The customer can have the item resized locally at their expense and forfeit their warranty. 2. Or, the customer can return the item to Chasing Mammoths with the shipping and adequate shipping insurance at their cost. Chasing Mammoths will resize or replace the item and send a payment link to the customer to cover additional charges, shipping, and adequate shipping insurance.
